Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the services of La Histórica Cantina de Autor ("La Histórica"), a restaurant-bar located at Av. Damián Carmona 8, Historic Downtown, 78000, facing Plaza Fundadores, Ipiña Building, San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., as well as the use of this website. By making a reservation, dining at our venue or using this site, you accept the following terms.
1. Reservations
- Reservations may be made by phone or WhatsApp at 444 555 8382, subject to availability.
- A reservation is confirmed only once La Histórica expressly responds.
- We hold tables for a 15-minute grace period after the reserved time, after which the table may be reassigned.
- For large groups or events we may request a deposit or guarantee and a minimum spend, communicated at the time of booking.
2. Cancellations and changes
Please notify any cancellation or change as far in advance as possible. For group reservations or private events, cancellation and deposit-refund terms are agreed individually in writing.
3. Food, drinks and prices
- Availability of dishes and drinks is subject to season and stock; some items may sell out or vary.
- Prices shown on the menu and this site are informational and may change without notice. The prices in effect are those displayed at the venue.
- If you have any food allergy or intolerance, it is your responsibility to inform our staff before ordering.
4. Alcoholic beverages
The sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited. We may request valid official ID. La Histórica reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone intoxicated or who poses a risk to themselves or others. Do not drive after drinking.
5. Live music and experience
Live music programming —including Friday salsa nights— may change or be cancelled for reasons beyond our control, without creating any obligation to refund consumption.
6. Right of admission and conduct
La Histórica reserves the right of admission. We expect respectful behavior toward staff and other guests, and reserve the right to ask anyone to leave whose conduct affects coexistence, safety or the operation of the venue.
7. Payments and gratuities
We accept cash and the cards indicated at the venue. Gratuity is voluntary and at your discretion, except for events or large groups where a suggested percentage may apply, communicated beforehand.
8. Promotions
Promotions such as "Tarde de Cantina" are subject to validity, hours and specific conditions, are not combinable with other offers and may change or end without notice.
9. Minors
Minors are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult, who is responsible for their care and conduct within the venue.
10. Website and digital menu
The content of this site (text, photography, video, logos and design) is owned by La Histórica or used with permission and is protected by applicable law. Reproduction without consent is not permitted. The digital menu and QR codes are provided as an informational tool.
11. Limitation of liability
La Histórica is not responsible for items forgotten or lost within the venue. We take reasonable hygiene and safety measures in food preparation in accordance with applicable regulations.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Mexican law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.
