Facing the Plaza Fundadores, in the heart of one of Mexico's most beautiful historic downtowns, La Histórica was born to tell —plate by plate— the culinary memory of San Luis Potosí. It occupies the legendary Ipiña Building, witness to generations of the city's life.
Led by Chef Jaime Abaroa, one of the most relevant figures in Potosino cuisine, every dish reinterprets the region's flavors with contemporary technique and deep respect for tradition.
It is a cantina, signature cuisine and a meeting point: mezcals and tequilas from small producers, house cocktails and, every Friday, live salsa beneath the colonial architecture only the center of the country can offer.
